ok this is gonna be a newbie question all the way so go easy on me lol im used to honda motors.how do you time a sr20det when you guys say a sr runs better on 15 deg is that advanced or retarded also the little hash marks on the crank pully there are only like 5 or 6 right how do you measure 15 deg off of that. Sorry this is a newb question but its very helpful to some of the others in here.

 

there are 6 marks on the crank pulley.

second from left is TDC, or 0.

then going to the left is 5, 10, 15, and 20 degrees.

SR's timing is 16 degrees. do not deviate from this.
