turbo coolant line
well i got steel braided lines and i seemed to notice the coolant line on my turbo to the side of the block is leaking from the angle fitting to the turbo.
well havnt had the time to get a good look at how to remove the line to repair it. is there an easy way to do this? cause i installed the lines when the motor was out of the car... looks like it will be a pain but just throwing it out there if someone has an easy method of removing the line |
That happened to me, I had to get the blocked re-tapped cause it got stripped when i installed it. it has to be PERFECTLY straight but i screwed it up.... took it to a shop and they put it on a lift no fixed it in no time.

nah its fine for me on the block its leaking where the steel braided line connects to the angle fitting that connects to the turbo.
i can loosen the line and take off the braided line from the fitting but its so tight in there |
drop exhaust from turbo dump pipe
removw hot pipe and maf pipe and loosen up exhaust manifold and should be able to get in there with a ratchet or stuuby wrenches my oem broke when i was jackin with the exhaust at my job but lucky its a mechanics shop... so when it broke i found a tranny line from a ram 1500 and fixed it.... check the fitting or if it loose.. use sum teflon tape it works... |
