240 during the winter

How much does it suck to drive during the winter? I gotta know from personal accounts. I've heard good and bad.

IT's all about you, the driver. Just be real careful and don't do anything stupid. Like accelerating too hard in a turn.

I haven't spun out yet, except on purpose (in an empty parking lot, weeeeeee!!!!) and I've gone through one terrible winter. So yeah, practice driving in the snow in an empty parking lot or something. You can get a feel of your car in the snow and figure out its limits.

Now trying to get your car out of an icy parking spot after the snowplow pushes all the snow behind your car is another story.

I hope it's not too bad. It doesn't usually snow much around here, but my first day with my 240 in the rain scared me the other day! I'm pretty sure it was just because it was the first hard rain after a long dry spell, so the oil mixed in with the water. But I started sliding twice. Once on a two-lane highway at about 50 in 5th gear in the middle of an easy corner with traffic both ways. And another in the city on a corner in 3rd gear at about 25mph..... not exactly fun when you don't mean to do it....

I hope my driving skills are up to the task in the snow!

it's no biggy just learn how you car works. get some kumho ecsta supra 712's and it will be like normal. plus winter is awsome for cars. it's like a hp upgrade for free especially if it's turbo.

240's are very predictable.
