4 or 5 lug?

Ive seen almost everywhere that you have to have 5 lug hubs on your car to drift. i know its better then a 4-lug but is it REALLY a must have??? i noticed team Enjuku had 5-lugs and now are useing 4 with gram lights. I dont wanna spend 850 on 4 hubs. ALSO are there any 2 peice rotors avabile for a 4lug??

You don't need 5 lug for anything, 5 lug is really only done for better wheel choices due to their not being many good size/offset wheels available in 4lug (most 4lug wheels on the market are for FWD vehicles). Another reason to go 5lug is for better brake upgrades, but there are several ways around that if you are 4lug, like redrilling 5lug rotors for 4lug, with some places offering big brake kits for 4lug 240's.

Oh, and if anyone told you that you need 5lug wheel hubs to drift, I would stop talking to them as they are obviously idiots.

Ok thanks but do you or anyone else know where to get 5 lug hubs for the front and rear. I couldnt find any on here, and the only other place was heavy throttle and they were charging 850.00 and im on a bit of a tight budget.

for the front use Attain, GTO, or Peak Performance hubs, google it for dealers and for rear you can use NA 300zx/s15/s14 hubs.

Next time please search, there is a sticky at the top of this section with all the answers to the questions you have asked.
