5 lug how to for S13

1 Attachment(s)
You can use S14 5 lug hubs in the rear, bolt in but still small brakes. Same for the front you can simply swap the hub onto the spindle, or use the whole spindle, but the S14 strut bolts are bigger so get the struts too from a S14.

OR.....

What I did. REAR: Skyline R33 GTS-T rear hubs with INTACT e-brake cables. Axles from the LSD S13 units slide thru, and the rear hubs bolt up and shocks mount the same, use ONLY the R33 hub and the rest of the existing S13 suspension arms. The R33's have rear steering(super Hikas), and you will either need to heat and beat the ball joint out and install the rear toe link bushing, or get a hikas eliminator(just a tube that you can bolt up and screw the ball joints into). Last the ebrake cables mouting tabs are not in quite the same location, you'll need to make a little adapter plate. Alot of people that get the RB swap with LSD simply install the LSD and axles and toss the rest...Hello...free 5 Lug swap?

Front: Skyline Rotors and Calipers, and you will still need either S14 5 lug or aftermarket front hubs. These simply bolt on, I did mine in about 1hr per side. The calipers also have a female brake fitting (hardline style)on them not a banjo fitting, so plan on 300ZX brake lines, and unless you want a mushy pedal pick up the 300ZX master too(1990+). Other than the brake line deal the hubs slide on, bigger aluminum calipers bolt up, it's sweet!

so s13 + s14 hubs = 5 lug s13 .....cool

Here is a write up on how to do a few things (5 lug conversion, brake upgrade,......)

I did the 5 lug swap but i had custom shims made so I can still use my JIC coilover and not have to drill out to 14mm. I'd like to note not doing the swap correctly can be dangerous not only to you but to others. the s14 uprights use 14mm bolts vs the s13 12mm bolts where the uprigths connect to the yoke of the struts if not corrected it can cause massive suspension failure. For the rear I used S14 rear hubs and they clear the out put shafts and need no mods but you can only use the s14 brakes I dont have a problem cause 80% stopping power occurs in the front and the rear picks up the rest

so if i just do the s14 hubs in front will i half to get the drill out for the 14mm or not? (i have tein coilovers)
