Alignment settings
I am looking for some suggestions for perfomance oriented alignment settings after installing my coilovers. The car will mostly daily driven with the occasion mountain run or track day thrown in. I have camber plates and the car will be about 1.5 inches lower than stock and I will be on 17in wheels. I know not everyone will have the alignment settings the same but I am just looking for suggestions for a starting point that I can try and then make adjustments for there.

Did you get adjustable rear camber arms??
|
No not yet? I haven't starting researching those yet? Can you recommend some?

s14 rear camber is already adjustable, u should only have to get camber plates for the front
on a regular street alignment, u set the tow so the car either slightly pulls to the left or the right, as a rule of thumb it is usually set to pull to the left, this is to make up for the curvature of the road, if you wanted to u could have them set the tow completely straight, but the car may pull towards the side of the road jus a lil bit, most likely u wouldnt be able to notice it otherwise all you really need to concentrate on is ur camber angle and i was actually looking into that myself, i heard sumwhere theres a rule of thumb of how much degree of camber per every inch of drop but i forgot it lol neone know what im talkin bout? |
I didnt know the Camber angle was adjustable??? Two of my friends had to get the adjustable arms for their S14s.....
|
really, mine and every other s14 iv seen, the rear is adjustable, u can still get adjustable arms, then u can get alot more and alot more accurate adjustment
and the front yea u definently need camber plates |
