coilovers question

Ive got a question. Ive been searching for coilovers and I dont wanna pay $1500 for coilovers. I came up with this and if I buy everything separet it comes out really cheap. But will those parts fit together or do tokico only fit tokico parts and cusco only fit cusco parts.

Tokico gas shocks
$270.00

Cusco adj camber plates
$189.00

Ebay adj coilovers
$24.95

Total price: $483.95

youre better off with eibach springs than "ebay coilovers"

Sounds like a horrible idea. Ebay "coilovers" are junk. I wouldn't even want to ride in a car with them installed for fear of my safety. The Tokico's are probably basically stock replacements so they wouldn't be very optimal for lowering too much.

If your looking to get coilovers just for the sake of having coilovers and to make your friends your uber tyte, don't get them, you are wasting your money, you will be fine with a decent spring/shock combo. Hell, if you want to do the coilover sleeve deal at least get some Koni yellows with ground control sleeves, at least their made by Eibach and aren't total junk.

If you want coilovers, pay to play, don't be a cheap-ass. Hell, if you must have a set of uber tyte coils, the Megans are something like a little over $800.

I really wish this forum had a suspension section, oh yeah thats right, it does...why isn't this there? Moved to the "Suspension" section.

get the megans or do KYB AGX + Ground Control + camber adjustable pillow mounts.

well im only 16 and its hard to come across 1500 for coilovers, I was was just trying to come up with a cheaper way of getting them. Ill just get the lowering springs for now and then get coilovers when I have a real job.

If you can afford to spend nearly $500 for the stuff you originally listed, I'm sure you can save a little more and get some Megans.

I still say though, if your getting coils just to get coils, your wasting your money. If your just going to drive the car on the street coils are overkill.
