E-Brake removal

I need to know if there is a way to remove my ebrake cables without cutting them. The problem is I can't get the wheels off (locking lug nuts without the key)

I'm sorry if there is a recent thread, I looked some and searched and didn't find anything:help:

Sure.

You can disconnect the ebrake cable from the rear caliper here. I can't remember the size of the bolt but you take it out and this bracket comes off the caliper.
Attachment 18434
You can take the ebrake cable out of the bracket now.

For the other end you need a screwdriver, turn the ebrake cable 45 degrees and use the screwdriver to pop it out of the t-bracket and you can remove the cables.

So I need to take it off from the end closest to the rotors?

Alright I got the bracket off but my connection to the brake isn't the same. My car is an 89 so that might make a difference

Which connection to the brake are you talking about?
