help, help, power steering

Im having a problem with my 91 240sx
im not sure what has to be replaced
but my power steering is shot
I know my pump is gone, but that will be replace when i do my swap.
But on the rack, my boots are split, and there is fluid leaking out of them, even more when i turn the wheel.
And when i push the boot back, I can see the teeth and there is dirt and **** all over it,
Im thinkin the whole thing is ***d up.

So im wondering, do i need to replace the rack or is it something else?
How hard is it to replace?
How much?
Could it be someting else thats broke, and the fluid is just runnin out of the rack?
Have any of you replaced yours?
can i use a 89-90, or do i stick with 91-94.

just rebuild it. outer tie rods are 17 bux each...and the inners are aswell...a boot kits isn"t much either.

it's a easy rebuild. may add a hour to the swap.
