help with struts for 1995 240SX

can someone offer advice on a problem i have removing a front strut bolt? i'm unable to remove the lower bolt that attaches the strut to the steering knuckle. i have this problem with the same bolt on both struts. the upper nuts and bolts came off freely, and the lower nuts also came off freely. however, the lower bolt will not move. i've tried heat, penetrating oil and attempted to hammer the bolt back through the hole. nothing, it won't move. i wonder if this is a manufacture's trick to prevent the do-it-yourselfer. has anyone had this problem? would greatly appreciate any tips. otherwise i get to pay the $525.

u try using a airgun with the correct size socket ? i had a similar problem with my bolts, it was 2 different ones... i used a mechanics air gun and got them out... i gave him $5 to use it... i was being generous

I would use an air gun as malice said and if that doesn't work try to heat it up with a tourch and then take the bolt out. Its the same technique used if you got a bolt stuck in your caliper. try it, should work, but don't heat up the shock itself too much or it might blow.
