lug differences?

so i had a question about the difference between 4 Lug and 5 Lug setups.

i was reading some other posts, and i think hyjinx (sp?) was pretty much saying there were more options for wheels (which i noticed), and upgrades such as 300z brakes and all that other stuff.

i was wondering if there was also a difference in strength or ability to handle power? i figured that 5 lugs (bolts) would be able to handle more force than 4 lugs (bolts) -- if force was evenly distributed across each bolt.

is that a minor issue between # of lugs? thanks!

From what I know, there is no force differences in 5 lug or 4 lug. Spec Miata's are 4 lug, and those thing's really race.

Its hyjYnx;)

it's okay I type hyjinx all the time and he doesn't say anything to me. LOL :p

5 lug gives you more bolt-on brake options, no?

You can always re-drill the rotors.
