Megan's Tension Rods
Well is time to change my OEM tension rods, so i was thiking about buying some Megan's tension rods... i know megan brand are good quality, and they are inexpensive..is there any feedback on this item or any of you guys have them??
If you do,do you have any problems or they run perfect? http://storesense.megawebservers.com...dss13_full.jpg thank you |
yea i would like to see some kind of feedback. im looking into those also.. after 4 years my current stock rods are bent a little.
|
How much did they cost, if you don't mind me asking? I got the Tein ones. I believe I paid about 130 for the set. Let us know how they feel! Those look beefy!
|
Tein is of higher quality, they get the job done and for not that much.
|
OMG Levi-sama wtf have you been!!!!!????!!! Good to see you here

|
I got them on ebay.

Megan makes quality products. I used them exclusively on my Prelude and will continue that loyalty on the 240 project.
Got mine on ebay from a guy called EBSTORES. Good prices, and his reputation is excellent. Price is around 120-130 + shipping, but I made a $100 offer + shipping and it was accepted. The parts are well made, very thick, and easily adjustable with a good set of open ends. Should stand up to anything but stupidity. I just completed a set plus Energy Susp Steering rack bushings. Reset the alignment due to the stock rods and worn bushings absolutely F-ING up caster and toe and I am amazed at the difference in consistent feedback and turn-in. The slush and float is completely gone. Make sure to use blue loctite and you will be good to go for a while. Of course, I still have the stock struts and springs so the car has horrible roll, but this should be the first mandatory mod for anyone who is serious about performance. |
Thanks man!
I oreder them allready! |

[QUOTE] I've had the traction links and toe rods on for about 3 months now, was under the car last week and everything is still in place and strong as ever. |

yay for megan! i am aware this is not a tension rod but it is made my megan. https://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i...458/badarm.jpg |
well I guess for some folks, its whatever gets the job done.
Kazama Suspension for me. I'd rather save the bread and get top-notch. |
damn someone missed a spot.. that can be filled in with a tig welder, but you should not have to.... that would be sent back with the quickness.
yea i just located teins on another site thats what ill be getting |
