Cool My240SX Project : Part I : Suspension

Hi All. Well, with title in hand, I start my 240SX project. The car is a 92 240SX, all stock, has 156K miles on it.

Why suspension first? Well, the car was on an accident. The driver (my step son) drove right into a curve at 55+mph at 5AM on a Sunday morning. After hitting the curve, the car launched into the air and landed 50 to 75 feet into a corn field.

The tow truck pulled it out and onto a flat bed and brought it home. This was many months ago. Since then he replaced (with "used" parts) the rack and pinion, some bent control arms, and got it to where the car moves (badly and unsafely).

I have not disassembled it yet (this weekend), but I figure most of the suspension (front and rear) has to be redone. It needs shocks/struts (just from driiving it I know), probably many bushings, control arms, etc.

What I am posting here for : (a) to share my story (thats what we come here for, right?) and info on suspension kits that work well on this model. I am not looking to drop the car but might go for 1" maybe. Mostly looking for OEM replacement but with better quality bushings/components.

Any info very appreciated, even if it is just a link.

Thanks.
