a newbie suspension ?????

hey guys. this is probably the most basic of suspensions questions, but i have a set of tokico shocks and springs that i want to put on my car. i was just wondering what things i should think about replacing in the suspension set up. i am kinda strapped for cash so what can i get for fairly cheap that will help make the ride nicer.

get a complete bushing kit for your car, it should cost around 150 dollars and it should pretty much be the first thing you change since your nearly 20 year bushings are most likely worn out. this will make the most difference in "feel"

subframe spacers, rucas if you lower the car at all, and sway bars.

should i think about changing out my upper pillow mounts? or should i just use the stock ones if i am not going to worry about camber angle yet. is the hyper flex bushing kit a pretty good kit? should i aim higher? lower? is there a gasket i need to replace my pillow mounts? i am new to suspension so i have no idea where to even start.

when, you upgrade to coilovers, decent ones come with upper pillowball mounts which are usually camber adjustable. and no, there is no gasket changing involved.
