pillow mount tension rod noise?

I have some secchi pillow mount ball joint tension rods that i bought from projectnissan a long time ago

and everytime i step on the brakes, it makes a clunking noise. Im guessing its the pillow mount ball joints

does anyone else have this problem?

well they will wear over time.

just lift the car up and check all the bolts and what not.

Make sure the tension rods (the threaded section) is tight too. And get off the damn cell phone when you host a car meet ROFL

ive checked and rechecked, everything is tighten,

could it be the tension rods? or something else?

my front suspension looks decent, only thing i can think of that would make the noise is pillow mounts.

nd get off the damn cell phone when you host a car meet ROFL
i was trying to get my friend to come that night heh

just a guess but make sure your caliper bolts and caliper bracket bolts are tight. if the bottom bolt is loose it will slam back down when you hit the brakes.
