S13 rear..17x9 +15 or +35??

Simple question...need some answers...mods so far will be: KTS Coilovers, RUCA's, and 300zx rear brakes. What would you guys go with, and why?? thanks in advance, dre

+15 would be the better offset to rock.

Catharsis 01-09-2005 08:39 PM

+15

3rd vote for +15.

+15 or lower.

Dres240 01-10-2005 04:42 PM

alright, so 4 votes saying that I go with +15 over the +35....I also wanna go with the +15, but how much fender pulling/rolling and camber do I need to run?? I'll have RUCA's in by the time I get my wheels on, but don't wanna be running too much negative camber with my daily driver, i want the tires to last too!! So what are the benefits of going +15 over the more conservative +35?

No rubbing. What will affect the camber more will be the drop you make. You might need to run some camber just to be safe, but from what I know, you can get away with pulling/rolling the fenders. The car will look hot and you'll have the right offset.

phat

Slightly wider track better for handling.

A more agressive look.

Rubbing depends on the tire size. Just roll the fender.

I have 255 on a 9j +14 and i had to pull.

So with a 235 you will be fine with just rolled fender.

Dres240 01-11-2005 11:39 AM

+15 is definitely what im gettin! thanks guys

SpdElemts 01-11-2005 04:13 PM

jus wondering what offset and size are you getting for the front?

Dres240 01-11-2005 04:15 PM

17x8 +25.....5 lug front n rear on S13 w/ 300zx brakes F+R

SpdElemts 01-11-2005 05:22 PM

will that offset be needing any fender rolling or spacers in the front?

Catharsis 01-11-2005 09:55 PM

dont bother with 8" wide be a pimp and get 9j all round

Dres240 01-12-2005 11:47 AM

hmmm, that would need alot of fender pulling/rolling and it'd scrape the fenderwells...I kinda think staggered would look and drive the best in my situation..but if anyone can talk me into 9j all around, than gimme sum reasons! dre
