Some more newbie questions...........

An acquaintance of mine is doing a group buy for these Nagisa auto Gacchiri Supports (Fender braces), and i am wondering if anyone has used the fender braces, and if they really do help stiffen up the car.

I looked at a couple of other ones, and they look alright. At around 210 bucks for the Nagisa, I can't really go wrong with them.

yes they do stiffen the chassis.. there are many different brands out... if you have a welder you could simply welded strips of metal right there and it would do the same thing.

I tend to prefer tried, test, and plug/play solutions, but thank you very much for the insight. I might just get them.

I still live at home, and my parents were decent enough to let me have some basic tools to work on my car. Anything more, and they are going to throw a fit. They like their garage super tidy, and clean. So doing huge projects there is out of the question. They are not car people =(

there's nothing more tried and true than welding sheet metal on to the chassis. if you don't have a welder, you can do the same but with pop rivets or other fasteners according to your liking.
