which susp to go with jic/or tein
Which set up would you all recomend for my S13?
1. JIC FLA2 at about 1500.00 includes front upper adjustable mounts, springs are 7 front and 5 rear OR 2. Tein HE at about 1500.00 includes adjustable upper mounts, springs are 8 front and 6 rear? Which one and why? MAtt |
I've been debating between the jic or the tein flex and leaning more towards the tein flex about 1300.00.
Also the zeal's have been looking pretty good too. |
Its your car what do you want and get what you can afford
|
i'd say go for TEIN, since they have a better reputation on products

Agreed I have a nice set of driving masters on mine and my buddy just bought some Flexes. If i were you i would go with the Teins HE's ...then tell us how "pimp" they are! ..

i have found the tein he for $1150 and the jic for $1699...those are the cheapest prices i have seen.

I have a set of Tein HE and love them. For the price and quality its worth it. Because you get everything.. pillowball mounts, camber plates and 16 different levels to play with. I hear JIC isn't too great. Thats what I hear from some ppl at the track. Everyone that hits me up about my suspension likes the Tein HE.

JIC's are $1500? I though they were cheaper... anyways, I've seen some threads about complaints from JIC's service dept. which might not matter at first, but if something goes wrong, it might be a hassle.
... Teins are nice. No question. Zeal's are wowowowow but too much $$ too. I vote for Tein on this one. Since you quoted exact same prices, I'd choose Tein over JIC any day. As mentioned above, quality and reputation are leaning more toward Tein. :thumb: |
