tein type flex or tein super drifts?
i have a 97 240sx and im wondering if i should get tein type flex coilovers or tein super drift coilovers, because im probably going to make my 240 a daily driver but a weekend warrior too.
what do you plan do do with the car on the weekends?
i wanna drift the car on the weekends but i dont wanna just limit it to drifting i might want to do other stuff but i dont know if the super drifts can be tuned for grip driving also
that's a good question... they haven't been out very long so i honestly don't know.
the super drift have stiffer springs compared to the flex. to me i was going to go with the flex as it wouldn't be as harsh. but i got apexi instead.
Flex w/ edfc, better for daily driving, and doins whatever else
i searched all over the tein website and i couldnt find out if the super drifts are available for overhaul, so if someone could clarify that for me that would be awesome and thanks for all the help people!
I would think any tein coilovers are available for overhaul. Oh, BTW, if you want some tein's PM me :)
i had super drifts used them for everything.
good ****. they are rebuildable. buy them and be happy. |
If you're talking real DAILY DRIVER then go Flex. Just becaue you can drive a car on the street - even if it has no interior, no A/C, no radio, no carpet, 1 seat, 10/12 springs, lopey idle, etc. - that's not what I call a daily driver. That's a track car with registration tags.
If you're one of those "I'll run the stiffest **** on the streets because I'm hardcore drifter at any moment if I see a good corner and I'm drift monster" then get whatever you want. LOL |
flex are for girlies.
