Tire size suggestion

I'm currently thinking about ordering some 17x8 and 17x10 volk CE28N's. Would it be better to run 17x9 and 17x10? I have a 1990 240sx hatchback btw. Also could I run 295 or 305 series tires on the rear rims? I'm just worried bout getting traction with my car when its all setup. I'll have 50mm wide rear fenders before these rims go on my car.

jesus 295s in the rear!? I think 265s would be PLENTY in the rear. just make sure to have some great tires

Yeah but I also plan on running around 600+ rwhp on pump gas in a 1990 240sx hatchback when its all together from what I have been told. I know traction is gonna be a issue that is why I want the widest tires I can get for these rims.
