Useable??? Quality???

Ok, first off I only put Quality in the title so people would be click on the forum to see what is being shown. I know this is pretty crappy spring setup.

Still being a poor broke a$$ college student who despertly needs new springs to hold him over, do you think this springs are good for maybe even 10,000 miles?

or even these

Help is apreciated!

I will go with the second since they look better on quality that the first plus at least they give u better description of the kit,the first even have a cheesy name "Speedy" compare to X3Racing ,if u desperately need some spring then just buy the spring ,there was a guy here in this forums who got some Tein-S spring for like $110 dollars in ebay ,now thats a kick *** deal

Tein?? for $100?!?!??! Who the hell did he sleep with to get that price!!! If I had money I'd go with the Tein- Flex Type with the EDFC controller. Retails for like 2K. But right now I don't have that kind of dough, but I would love to get my hands on Tein springs for that price.

Dont buy either. They dont fit right and will not offer you a good ride. They are POS. Just search for some S-Tech's. If you cant afford even cheap springs. Maybe you should get another hobby.

LOL, agreed this is a rich mans sport, however if you notice in the above I said I would be willing to buy the S-techs at around like 150. I think people would back me up massively if I said that we all don't have $2,000 to buy a great setup without worrying about where the money comes from.
So in short I'm not rich, I still love cars, and I'll be working on mine untill I'm physically unable to.

Just as a final note: I found a set of Tein S type springs on ebay for $130!! Not quite 110, but still pretty damn good!! They'll be on my car as soon as this winter season is over. Thanks for the input!!

Saw this thread and checked out ebay and was ready to buy the stech (109+shipping isn't bad at all) so I can have a lowered car(the big fender gap bugs me), but then I read other threads and saw that I gotta get camber plates and rucas and would add up to about $300. Decided to just save it for the ONE-tein type flex. bleh

Well actually for the front all you need is like a set of $10 adjustment screws that should handle your needs unless your going really low. As for the rear you need new Rear Upper Control Arms and I'm not sure exactly where I'm getting them from but from what I have seen on this forum they go for like $100. But if you lower any car you can either wait for your tires to wear out (won't take that long) or you can adjust the camber. In all seriousness though, having adjustable plates can come in real handy for racing/drifting applications as well.
