What size wheels for daily driving?

hello, i used to drive a 99 civic si, i had the stock 15" rims on for some time and then i threw on a set of 18" racing hart c2's w/ 215/35/18 yokohama paradas. i'm moving on to a 95 240 soon and was wondering how big of wheel and rubber you can get in the well without rubbing? with the above size tires, my car handled and rode like crap. i'm undecided if i should by some 17" or 18" volks for daily driving. what do you think?

I've got 17s on my car, which is a daily driver, and I love them. There isn't any rubbing and I think the ride is great. I'm sure you could even go larger then what I've got and still be safe.

Good luck,
Matt

Max u should go is 19"
18" doesnt hurt to much..but 17" and the right tires is a great set up. The max width u should go is 8.5", anything over that i belive it starts rubbing.

Well for daily driving, the stock 16's are the perfect. No need for anything else.

Your question confuses me a bit, you ask for a daily driven wheel/tire combo and right away it goes to 17's and bigger. I'm not trying to bag on you bro, I just want to know what your looking for so I can give you an honest opinion. But for daily driving the 16's should be the way to go, with anything larger for shows or "special occasion's"<------big pimpin. :naughty:

The 240 can handle a wide array of rims/tires, I've seen them go so far as 8.5" up front and 11" in the rear on 18's.
