Worn out tension bars?!?

I have terrible oem tension bars that are worn to sh!t. I was wondering, do they make a clunking noise when they are worn to sh!t because I have a mysterious clunking noise coming from my front suspension and everything is bolted tight.

Problem solved, it was my suspension balljoints on my camber plates, the manufacturer did tighten them down all the way when I got my coilovers rebuilt.

well I have already sent them back for rebuild only after 1000 miles. But I have notice a MAJOR difference in the "NEW" shocktowers. They actually have notches (36 notches for 36 way damp) when you adjust the dampening instead of just turning without any knowledge of knowing how much your setting them up for. And they feel more solid than before, So....so far so good.
