I think you should check for boost/vacuum leaks before messing with your fuel curves. The ssqv bov is the best as far as a bov that does not leak, but you may have bad connection of your IC piping or possibly some bad welds for the BOV flange. Another place to check is that you got the 0-ring and c-clamp installed correctly for the BOV. How does the car idle? is the smoke continuous, or between shifts?

Just for reference, white smokes are usually 'burning' water, silver-blue smoke is burning oil, and black/sooty smoke is caused by a rich condition...did anything else get jostled while you were installing the FMIC?

I would check your compression and go from there. If you are burning a white smoke its either coolant or oil (Depending on ur defenition of white). If your compression is bad it is most likely your headgasket or piston rings.

this is true...
is it possible there was somethin in ur intercooler piping when u connected it? That could have blown the turbo. I would check for any free play in the turbo.

If all you have done is install a IC and BOV and now your car runs like a$$ or even doesn't run. Then your problem is either the BOV or the IC. Check you connectors at your IC and make sure that they are not leaking. A "vacuum leak" can be anywhere in the air intake system(IC piping, vac lines, Intake mani), it is not only the vacuum lines. You probably have one on your IC piping.

or just put your other stuff on to make sure its the ic or bov. that will tell you real quick if its your new stuff. or you might find that something was just ready to go. its funny how those things go. but good luck.
