Just bought SR20 det and it runs bad

I bought a 240 with a sr20 in it and when I test drove it was bucking and running poorly. The fuel was low so I filled it up and it seemed to stop. I drove the car home about 125 miles with no and came out this mornung started it and let it warm up and its doing the same stuff. I have checked all vacuum hoses and intercooler hoses and they are fine. So I'm either thinking the fuel pump is bad or the TPS. If anybody could help me out I would appreciate it.

Yea it would run way rich, you could smell straight gas coming out the pipe. It only does it once in a while so I'm thinking it is a sensor. Could the MAF sensor be messing up or the tps gettting stuck open, cause when you push on it at idle the idle jumps around

check for vaccum leaks, and leaks in you intake path after the MAF.

I payed $4000 for it and it has a black top s13, boost controler, gauges, clean interior, working p/s, but the body is a little rough it has the original paint still on it. I think I got it for a steal at that price and that problem has gone away.

check for boost leaks as stated, also you may have leaky injectors, or the maf is bad. if it is the maf then the car wont run over 3.5K rpms.

Check for boost leaks, check condition of the plugs, make sure timing is at 15 degrees Btdc, check for ecu codes, run 02 sensor diagnostic, check spark plug gap, check fuel filter (upgrade to 300zx one), the fuel pump should be at least a bosch 255lph. If you have an multimeter check the tps voltage and injector resistance. Theres plenty of things it could be but all the things I listed could be done in a few hours and some cash for a fuel pump.
