coolant lines

Im tryin to keep my engine kooler on my sr, I know i can plug off all coolant lines to my turbo, but will this be ok. I know my homeboys supra and gsx will run fine without the lines but will the sr?

Sure you can plug the lines off, if you don't like your turbo.

Seriously though, instead of rigging the problem, you should fix it. You should find out why your car is running hot, and fix the problem. Is your cooling system stock? Our cars weren't designed with turbos, and sometimes need some cooling system upgrades to cool a bit better. Mine does just fine with some dual electric fans, and some redline water wetter.

unless you have a big t3/t4 you still need the water to cool the turbo... the oil will not be able to offset the temps. on the small turbos.
