Crush washers for the turbo oil line

The line I'm talking about goes from the engine block to the turbo. I was able to source some crush washers for the coolant line, but I can't find any with the proper I.D. for the cursh washers around the banjo bolt.

ANyone point in the right direction?

Searching around the web I found this part:

turbo oil line o-rings - 15193-03E00

I'm not sure it's the right one.

Thanks in advance.

from the block you will be utilizing and brass T. there is no crush ring involved

( this is the picture below without the rest of the 1/8 NPT fittings)

crush ring for the coolant banjo bolt can be found at your local car store, they carry assortment packs for about 5 bucks.

if you have advance auto on auto zone its in the help isle

I'm sorry. perhaps I wasn't clear. I'm not looking to redo my oem setup. I just want to replace my old crush washers with new ones for the oil line going to the turbo from the block .It's just a little lower than the line for the coolant. Coolant is all taken care of. THey look exactly the same, the oil bajo bolt just isn't as big as the coolant.

Are you suggesting I upgrade to that setup?

Bumnah 03-23-2007 07:15 PM

Biggamehit 03-23-2007 07:19 PM

LOL yea i figured that... hmmmm yea you still should be able to get an assortment of crush rings..... or go to nissan.. they are just standard.

Bumnah 03-23-2007 07:20 PM

went to nissan. no dice... grrrrr. maybe hit up another dealership and see what happens.

Biggamehit 03-23-2007 07:22 PM

hmmmmmm... thats wired they usually have them just laying around with a bunch of standard bolts etc....

do you happen to have one of the old rings....

Bumnah 03-23-2007 07:34 PM

yup. took it with me.

tried car quest, napa, autozone, advance auto. none have a similar sized crush washer....

are you totally against switching over to braided lines?

RuizXIII 03-23-2007 07:53 PM

I totally think switching to S/S braided lines is a good idea. Easier to manipulate and work with than the standard hard lines.

Bumnah 03-23-2007 08:03 PM

i may bit the bullet and switch to SS lines. Any recommendations on ss lines?

I sorta rather just use the oem stuff. If I can't find new washers I'll go with SS lines.

found the crush washers at a local machine shop. finally got the damn bolt back in. now let's pray the damn things don't leak:D

yea just couple that with some high temp rvt and you will be golden.
