Electric Turbo for 240sx???
 

For those of us that dont want to spend thousdands of $$$, but still want good performance, this might be the answer:

So what do u think?, is it for real? is it worth it for ppl who dont want $3000 turbo?, and better yet is it good for us sohc owners who are sick of looking for rare turbo kits for our old engines?

its not something i would go for. i can't even imagine what kind of power drain that thing would have on the car.

um, look at the dyno graph. I like how this adds horsepower especially below 5252 rpm. I have never seen a graph that has more horsepower than torque below 5252 rpm. this must be really special to break mathematical laws.

it obviously can't work. it is not even similar to a turbo so it is more like a supercharger. a supercharger takes at least 10 horsepower to turn it to make boost, usually alot more. but lets just say that 10 horsepower can make boost. look at how big this thing is. a ten horse electric motor wouldn't even fit in the engine bay with the engine in there.

this thing is the biggest piece of crap I've ever seen.

Wanna know what that thing is? Its meant to help ventilate boat cabins...its an exhaust fan to keep fumes from building up...

Wanna know what it will do for you car? Well it cant spin fast enough and therefore actually restricts. You will get more air in ur motor by a natural intake. Further, those fans are made out of plastic, when ur motor speeds up and that plastic fan cant take it *snap* yay plastic pieces in ur motor.

in other words, DONT TOUCH THIS THING
