just curious
if i have a rb25det swap
with intake ,exhaust ,intercooler,bov, fuel pump.

how can i raise the boost so that i get more hp and not blow up the engine??exactly how much boost will this be?
and is it reliable to run on or it should be kept on stock boost for daily driving?

 

The stock turbo can hold 12psi-13psi, IIRC the IC can hold about 10psi-12psi. For DD use I would just stick with stock boost. Stock internals can hold a good...20+PSI IIRC

 

what kinda of hp are we lookin at around 10-12psi?
stock boost is at 7psi right?

Forgive me if im wrong, but Im sure the stock 8psi-9si. So upping the boost isnt going to give that much of a boost in power. Get a FMIC, better turbo, injectors and etc. you can get a real monster on your hand

i heard the rb25det stock turbo can handle up to 15psi MAX... heard the stock motor is good for over 500 hp... can handle 500 hp fine on stock internals (from what I've heard... never tried it... still swapping, lol)

 

im sure they can, easily. given the right mods that is.
