Whats up guys? yea i just picked up an 89 s13 coupe and i just finsihed puttin my sr20det black top in...ok i want to uprgrade the turbo becuase this car will be a street car and a drifter so i need a fast spooling turbo that also pushes out some good hp numbers..power range goal for this car is 750 hp....ne suggestions?

 

750 hp with good spool?? good luck. If you want a good drift turbo and still have some street spunk a gt2871r sounds good for you. I might be biased though because i have this turbo and i love it.

 

i agree with ogee... 750hp with no spool, i dont think thats possible. Anyways, the gt2871r he has put in his car is awesome. almost zero lag and lots of power. maybe bump up to a gt30, gt35 if you want more pwer

 

I laughed when i read 750 HP. You will have to take that sr out and rebuild it for those numbers. Do you realize how much HP 750 is? Anything over 450 is huge. Anyways I would suggest GT35. There are a few people running those and making some great numbers.

 

i do agree with you guys on the gt35...and my car is my everyday driver so im rebuilding all the internals to make those numbers even if i hit over 500 i will be happy i just want to see how much power i can push out of it..

ive been in a 450 hp car and its scary but it was 3700 pund car 750 on a 2800 pund car insane p.s i dont think u know what u r talking about

well mag/cover cars might be rockin the high hp sr's but yeah ka's are mostly the homebrew 600+'s like on ka-t.org do u have pics of your 89 coupe with blacktop?

 

750hp in an SR = Insane amount of money.

It's possible, totally doable..but that means total overhaul and powerband of 6k-7k.

"Drift" Cars need no more than 500hp..if you need more..you're just power-overing everyturn.

 

Hahahaha.........you might need a bigger motor for that....A.K.A......KA24DE-T or a 2.5L DE-T with the gt2871r like i'm going for.

 

Yea arent like some of the records on sr's like 700 ish? if u really want that power u might wana consider rb26 or 2jz motors...just wondering too...what do u need 750hp for? ud prolly be about jus as fast with 500hp b/c traction will be a beyotch!!

ok i said a goal of around 700 it could happen but im not goin to do it..i wanna hit like 450-500....i will do 750 when i get anohter 240 and throw in the rb26dett...but for now ill stick around the 400 range
