internal wastegate

on an internally wategated turbo system where does the line running from the wastegate go to and what does it do?

it goes to your charge pipe. or also called intercooler pipping. and it regulates your wastegate. same as an externally mounted wastegate. is that what your wanting to know.

Depending on the turbo, it may just go to one or two outlets on the compressor itself. At least, on the z31 t3 it does. It has two which are t'd and go to the wastegate.
