Ka24e question. Please help!!
 

I've been talking to a guy from a machine shop in my area. We've been talking and he told me that he could build a KA24E turbo ready motor for around $1500-2000. He gave me a list of the components and machining that he does. Alot of the parts he gave me I've never heard of before and need some help about reliability and performance. I could opt to not use some of the components but I would have to buy them and put them inside the engine when it's shipped. So if anyone has had any bad experience with any of these parts let me know and tell me what you think. Thanks

melling oil pumps
noa rings
safety gaskets or ajusa?
Bored .020 or .040 (my decision. if i chose .040 will the cylinder walls be too thin?)
new freeze plugs
oil galley plugs installed
crank is reground and connecting rods are remaned
head is fully machined
block treatment: blasted, bored, cleaned, honed and line honed, decked, retapping of holes.
