MAFs and Knock Sensor question

Hey just a quick question that I cant seems to find a concrete answer to. My check engine light came on the other day so I went down to my computer and figured out the code(went to a mechanic friend to verify as well). Turns out my knock sensor and MAFs are both shot. Im planning on turboing my 240, but I dont have plans to do it for at least three more months. I know I need to go ahead and get the knock sensor. What im wondering though is should I just go ahead and purchase a z32 mafs? I know it wont really add power now, but I cant figure out if Ill have to change anything or install a safc for it to work.

I am no expert on this, but I would say get the Z32....

For how much you will pay for a new one, you might as well get the Z32, which will be good for later if you plan to have >250 hp or so.

Also, I THINK you should be able to just use the Z32, minus some wiring mods....it doesn't do anything different, it just can properly read higher air flows than the stock one....same signal though I think

if you install the z32 mafs, you have to tune your ecu. i thought the mafs were the same too but they apparantly send a different signal. i have a jwt chip and a z32 maf and, trust me, you to tune your ecu or the car will probably run rich.
idk about the safc tho
stock 240's have knock sensors?

all engine has a knock sensor,i have a spare one for ka24de if you need it.im running a z32 mafs on my s13 and without tuning your car wont run right.this is what i use for tuning air/fuel ratio........ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SR20D...mZ320057995381

does the knock sensor back off the timing as well? cuz timing's gonna be a biggy with a turbo and all.
