SR20 Red-Top Starting Problems...
Well I was driving around and my SR20 just dies on me.. I was only going like 20mph and it just cuts off...
I try to crank the car back up, it keeps turning and turning but won't turn over... So first thing I do is check all the fuses, no blown fuel pump fuse. I had one and that was the Eng. Cont. one (25-A fuse), I replaced that and still the same thing.. I have a Walbro 255lph fuel pump, and now when I turn the ignition with the key in, you can't hear the fuel pump coming on like usual. My S-AFCII would power up when the key was turned but now it just stays off.. I doubled checked all my fuel lines, and I/C lines for any vacuum leaks but nothing. I know my car is running rich so do you think my spark plugs could be fouled out? I would check but I don't have the tool for it over at my parent's house. But the thing is, my S-AFCII isn't powering up so I was thinking it could be a loose ECU connection or just that my ECU went bad? What else could I look/check for? |
You should check the battery voltage with a meter, it could be your alternator which just died on you.
