T70 Super 70 turbo Fitting problems on Ka24de turbo manifold log and stainless

I have a T70, super 70 turbo.

Im having problems fitting it.. first I think the compresser housing is facing the wrong way cause when i get it hooked to the manifold it points away from the engine block...

If This turbo doesnt fit using this manifold than I guess Ill have two of them for sale.. and ill have to buy one that does... allow the turbo to fit..

Second. No mater how I try it The turbo seems like its going to hit the block..?

I wanted to know If anyone was running a super 70 t70 and if it is hard to fit onto the ka24de..

Pics of the turbo

The manifold I have is a log type it kinda looks like this one... My stainless steel one also looks almost like this setup aswell..

Any info would help... also I think If i rotate the compresser housing about 90degree it would point straight down and fit. I was wondering if anyone knew if you just had to take the bolts that hold it on, off and rotate it or if there is anything special like gaskets or pressing I would have to do...? I have also tried to top mount it, but then the waste gate cant go onto the manifold at all.

Thanks

WEll, I found out im going to have to Extend the waste gate flange out further from the Manifold about 4 inches to clear the turbo... So im going to need 38mm pipe to weld to the flange then weld a flange onto it for the waste gate to fit on..

why weld to the existing flange. just cut it off weld tubing to it, then weld a flange to the end. or better yet reweld what you cut off, just dont cut it too close to the flange

Will do, I just push the pistons out of the block and striped it down... Im going to bore it .040 over and try to hit 2.5 or 2.6L im going to run 20 to 25lbs of boost... Im hoping this Super 70 can supply what i need... Im going to use Greddy Emanage Or a JWT ecu... I dont know which yet... Some people say the JWT with a SAFC is a good combo cause it cuts out the fat of the JWT but i dont know... Thanks..
