page not available.
from what i have read here, the manifolds are not that good.
I was looking into the same thing and i searched and found complaints about the manifolds cracking.
But i do not know if that is the same style of kit as the page wont load for me.

Beau M 11-10-2005 02:53 PM

Hmm... loads when I click on it. Its the SS Autochrome on efor 750 bucks.

l2aine 11-10-2005 03:58 PM

didn't we talk about SSA already like for the 3987492834792734th time?

Kaion1000 11-10-2005 05:26 PM

Yea i'd stay away from that man

Beau M 11-10-2005 05:35 PM

Yes, you have all talked about it in about 9 hundred posts, and I couldnt find one clear answer in any of them. So.... why is this kit bad? I hear rumors of manifolds cracking, is that it? I just dont see how a turbo kit should cost 4K +. It doesnt add up.

xXsilviaXx 11-10-2005 05:43 PM

why stay away? i just don't get it. this company should be dead if these turbo's are so bad.

Beau M 11-10-2005 07:30 PM

I hear ya brother. Where are the budget kits if this one sucks so bad? For those of us with daily drivers that dont want anymore than 200-250 rwp? Heck, some honda boys dont even use a damn intercooler. I want my sub 1K turbo kit darnit!

xXsilviaXx 11-10-2005 08:01 PM

go to there website buy direct from them. and yeah 250 rwhp sounds damn good to me at about 9-11 psi

Kaion1000 11-10-2005 11:07 PM

Your not going to be able to find a good quality budget turbo kit... If your on a tight budget like I was then you've got to do some research and put a turbo setup together yourself. you can go with a t25 setup for very cheap but its going to take some time... do a little searching and feel free to ask any questions you have about it. If you really want a cheap turbo setup, this seems to be the best way to do it.

what about t28? with sr 370cc injectors a SSA manifold apexi safc2 and a MSD BTM ?

Kaion1000 11-11-2005 03:17 PM

sounds nice... intercool it, could use sr sidemount, get walboro fuel pump, an sr dp should line up, get the oil lines and you should be pretty cool. Search around a little more and collect as much info as you can. good luck

xXsilviaXx 11-11-2005 03:24 PM

i know i am searching around. yeah of course FMIC walboro dp as in dump pipe? or down pipe? and oil lines where's the best place to get oil lines and plumbing? and of course little things like connectors and such. i'll be making a thread about it when i have a list of everything.

Kaion1000 11-11-2005 03:58 PM

I think www.jgstools.com has the oil lines and I meant down pipe

xXsilviaXx 11-11-2005 04:30 PM

thanks man. o that seems a little steep for connectors or is it? i am bookmarking a whole bunch of turbo parts and accessories websites. piecing together a turbo should be fun :)
