turbo kit for S13

So I have been thinking about doing KA-T but I can't find any bolt-on kits for the S13, only the S14. Anybody know a solution?

the only one i see is a turbonetics kit at turbokits.com you could do that or do a custom kit

SSAUTOCHROME SUCKS!

pretty much anything on a kade is interchangeable between the two chassis, with the exception of maybe plumbing... and ususally it is too. personally i would just piece together my own kit, its alot cheaper and you can get the parts that you want. of course a fair amount of research needs to be done before you just click "buy". It cost me a total of around $1800 to put together a kit.

if you have a personal experience with them please elaborate, unless you have personal experience it is not fair to just make judgements. their customer service is phenominal and in my experience their parts are very high quality for the price. the key is to know what you are buying before you do

I heard that SSAC is better now than they used to be. Then again, I can't talk becasue i dont own anything they make yet.

Yeah SS Autochrome isnt that bad. It gets the job done but of course it dosent compare to the hi-dollar turbo parts. My friend has one of their manifolds and it hasnt cracked yet. I mean you wouldnt wanna run a HUGE turbo on it or anything.

id just peice together
sr t28
mani
sr 370cc
ebay intercooler and piping
safc2
walboro fuel pump
ect

ka-tfresh 03-23-2007 02:39 PM

i'd piece together a kit...you know that it will fit, and it's custom....at least i would get the JGS starter kit (high qualitay and cheap) and finish it up from there

oh, KA-T.org

Biggamehit 03-23-2007 04:23 PM

one thing alot of people misunderstand is even with a kit, "Modification" will be needed lol... if your not scared to chop/cut or grind you will be fine.

AZdrifterS13 03-26-2007 01:14 AM

What about the trubo kit SSAC has? Anyone think that would be any good?
