turbocalculator.com

just a little curious to see if anyone has bought from turbocalculator.com. about 2 days ago i purchased a garrett t3 turbo from their site. my friend had told me about them and they had good prices and when i emailed the guy asking a few questions before purchasing the turbo he seemed really helpful and as if he cared about his customers so i went ahead and bought the turbo. now yesterday my buddy was on honda-tech.com and found a few threads about turbocalculator "not responding to emails or returning phonecalls", and also i read some thread about getting turbo's with blown seals and even warped compressor rods and so on. im a little worried about my 414 bucks i sent them now considering i called them and got no answer and their voicemailbox was full. and i also checked the bbb and what do ya know they are on their with 5 complaints as well. so im thinkin by now im screwed out of my 400 bucks and still got no turbo. so if anyones done business with them and has got what they paid for let me know maybe ill get lucky and get a good product. if anyone knows anything about them please help lol, thanks

i for one have lost 1,500 bucks so far on a bad ebay deal. And there are others that have lost more. like in excess of 3,000. There was one kid that ordered a redtop (i believe i don't remember exactly) and when it arrived at his door the crate was destroyed, there was oil and cat litter all over it, and becuase the engine was on it's side there were several parts that went to shi7. I forget what thread this was in but the guy showed the pics. Unfortunetly you do what you can but sometimes you just have to take one in the gut and keep on walking.

i picked up a t3/t04 off them awhile back. got it in about two weeks, packaged safely and securely. no shaft play, spins free. still waiting for IC piping and my ems before i put it in, but just thought id throw some input in.

oh yeah, i also tried calling them and got the same thing. dont bother leaving messages, they never got back to me. email is probably your best bet.
