V-Mounted IC Setep
I read somewhere online that a V-Mount IC setup is better for cooling the engine/turbo setup than a FMIC that blocks the radiator. This is, is that everything needs to be custom made. In theory, I think the V-Mount setup sounds ingenious. The radiator is not only getting cooler air than a FMIC, but if you run an inverted-scooped hood, the hot air that is in the IC and everything can escape quicker. Does anyone make and sell V-Mount setups, or do they have to be 100% custom? Are their any other benefits to this?
I've been on here for a couple years, and this is the first post I've made in a long time. Feels great to be back lol. -Chris |
they are always 100 custom

Signal Auto makes them for fd3s twin turbos and for s20det's, but they are about a grand if I remember correctly

CIP motorsports can do them... www.240sxmotoring.com

Yoshio Factory as well uses and makes kits. This is not for your average driver. It is very expensive, and I doubt you would actually need a V-mounted intercooler since you are asking about them.
