In Wisconsin
Hey guys, I'm up here in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Not much of a drift scene yet, but I'm getting people involved. Showing them Option Videos and Drift Tengoku. Currently building a 1989 Nissan 240SX with a Silvia Conversion. Red top SR with Blitz FMIC and BOV. Completely stripped with a 10 point cage in it. I've done most of my business with Project D/autoimaging out of Bloomington, MN. They are now also GP Sports North America. Otherwise I've done all the work on the car myself except the roll cage. If anyone wants a cage installed, let me know. I know a guy that does a great job, you can't even see the cage from outside the car! Anyway, drop me a line if any of you are in the area.

pics of cage? especially by the drivers side foot area. i need something that won't be in the way. and typical prices?
|
I'll get some pics of the car and the cage today, and I should have them posted by tonight or tomorrow. As for pricing goes, it's $100 a point for mild steel or $125 a point for chromemoly. The moly cage is going to be a bit lighter. I brought the car to him completely stripped on the interior and he had the cage done in a matter of 10 days. I did have to cut the dash were the cage goes thru. If looks are a concern, a plate can be made to fit around that A pillar bar and screw to the dash to make the cuts in the dash look flush and tight. I didn't worry about it because my car is built for specifically for drift driving.
