818 Thursday Night Meet

I just wanted to let you guys know about the Thurs. night meets that we have out here in the San Fernando Valley. The meet is at the Starbucks located on Reseda and Devonshire in Northridge.

There are usually about 75-100 cars there.

The meet usually starts at 9:00 but if you come you should arrive around 8:30 since the parking lot WILL fill up.

Last week there were about 25 240's there, about 20 AE86's, lots of Toyotas and Nissans (other than the above mentioned) and of course Civics, Eclipses, and Mustangs.

Cops do roll by often but they usually are there to look and admire the cars too. They will on occassion remind you of the law but if you are courtious to them they will be courtious to you.

If you do come the regular rules about burnouts and such apply. Just come out and have fun. I'll be the one with the silver 240 with the 7th Alliance stickers on it.

Sergio.

some idiot in a mustang was doing burn outs and got everyone at our meet booted from the parking lot. I would try to come Long beach is kinda far from where I am at but I will try to make it.

Since the events of last thurs. have hindered the reliability of that spot many of us that go there have thought of moving it somewhere else.

The New location is: The Yankee Doodles parking lot on the corner of Topanga Cnyn and Victory Blvd. This location also allows for quick access to Topanga Cnyn and Mullholland if anyone desire to go on a Cnyn run at night.

The meet will probably start at @ 9:00 as it has done so regularly on Thurs nights. I hope to see a couple of you there maybe in the near future.

This thurs might be a little weak since everyone is still scrambling to get another location. but dont let that deter you from showing up.
