17x9.0 - 35 offset (all around) for S13

i'm plannin' on buyin' a 240sx 89-up (s13) coupe or fastback
but i want to put sportmax 962 17x9 all around with 35 offset

my questions are....'

- can i go 17x9 front and rear?

- on turnin' will it rub?

- do i roll my fenders?

- will it be flushed?

- what size of tires to do i use (read next)

- I want the tires to be really stretcheddddd like the drifters tires

- what size should it be if that the case?

wow, there are so many people that have those wheels that you could look at, google it, but since im bored

yes 17x9 front and rear is what i run

no

depends on what size spacers ur gone run

flushed? like a toilet?? FLUSH no your gona need atleast a 20mm spacer for decent flushness

stretched like drifters lol...wow...do you even know the purpose of a stretched tire? u better have coilovers before you buy any of this stuff...and why look like a drifter if your not one..205 or 215 will be stretched..

those wheels are heavy and been around the block more than a $2 *****, i suggest doing some research first and making sure ur not going to regret your wheel decision

pearl harbor joke? as in "you just sunk my battleship"? yes the wheels will be very sunken and not flush with the fenders unless you run 275 tires or so out back. spacers are a must. moral of the story: don't buy wheels that don't fit the car. 9" 0 offset is flush

lol my name is yuTa (assuming you are talking about me). but yea. ok i have sportmax 002s 15x8 offset 0 with a 30 mm spacer (F) and unknown 15x8 offset -20 with a 30mm spacer (R). i would personally recomend (nicest wheels for relatively low price):

sportmax 002s (15x8, 0 offset)

konig rewinds (15x7, 0 offset)

Size: 45.2 KB

mb motoring competition (17x9 +27 offset)

mb motoring weapon (17x9 +17 offset)

KMC hot wheels (17x9 offset 0)

and of course there are many used wheels out there (aftermarket or OEM) as well as the 5zigen FN01RCs and Work emotion cr kais.

but if i could get any wheels i would get some work meister 2 piece 17x10 offset - 15, although they are not the lightest, most rare, or most expensive wheels out there, i love the way they look.

Thumbs up

I will pat myself on the back Ayuaddict since my wheels are on your list...haha

I love my Emotion CR Kais....17x9 +17

Silviak....you say 17x9 0 flush.....that's probably gonna be past flush if you don't run a crap load of camber....

I have my camber in the rear at ~0 right now (temporarily, because the inside edges of my rear tires are worn, and I am trying to squeeze out some extra mileage) and the wheels are completely flush

P.S. I like those MB motoring weapons

weapons are nice but they dont have hardly any concave or lip...just loaded with lots of extra aluminum on the back the make the offset better..
