stretching tires

what tire sizes will i need to get stretched like this?

EDIT: in the pic i cant tell if the tire is fitted to the edge of the lip, i want it fitted to the edge

you can get that look with anything if the rim is to wide and the tire to narrow... for example putting a 205 on a wheel that is like 18x 10j etc etc .... why do you wanna do that? just curious because that fad has passed over bro.

As a drifter I pull a baby stretch to stiffen my sidewall but that has purpose... also be careful as some places in this world, cops will fine you for that.

thats how i want my car to sit, im building my car for myself to admire so if the fad is out and people are like wtf its whatever cause ill still like it.

If this is what you really want you need to consider the other factors, e.g, rear camber settings and how much fender modification you want to do. Really, if you have no experience with this already and you can not mount the tires yourself I would not recommend doing it. It's very hard to find a shop that will do it for you because it's a pain in the ass and it's not particularly safe when done to that extreme. If you want a decently large stretch, get 215/40 tires and put them on 17x9 wheels. get the wheels to an effective "0" offset with whatever spacers are necessary and add positive camber until the wheel sits where you want in relation to the fender.

I would really advise against this though. Not only because you have no idea what you're getting in to but it's silly and does not have any benefits over a properly sized tire/wheel with a performance oriented alignment.

thanks for the info, now that i look at the pic some more that is a pretty large stretch, i might not stretch it that much but i def want them stretched

so i just ordered some 17x9 wheels and i wanna know what size tires to get for alittle stretch and what tire sizes to fit regularly. i see some 245/45 and 215/50 on craigslist but i dont know how they would fit on the wheel.

i have stretched tires on my pos right now, and i absolutely hate that look. as theres no real function for it, reminds me i need to get off my but and fix that asap.
