oil pan

i pulled my SR from my clip this weekend and noticed the oil pan was damaged, so i have to get a new one, no prob. but what i have is a question about is the inside thing in the oil pan (dont know the name of this part) (look at pic).
Does it look ok to you? im not sure if its been hit or not? can i fix it or get a new one?

Can hardly see the pic cause this monitor at work is like 100 years old and really dark. You sure its not your oil pickup? Again I cant see the pic so, lol.
