digital cluster to analog type swap

does anybody know how to do this? i know i read somewhere how to but i cant find it anymore . its impossible to find one of these digital cluster workin at a good price so im switching it. any info would help thanx.

LOL boing.. if you subscribe to Sport Compact Car magazine, they show a whole article about doing such a swap. Heres what you'll want to look for:

Sport Compact Car Magazine
February 2004
Volume 16, NO. 02

It shoudl still be in the newstands right now. The cover should say "STEEL GLADIATORS" with a silver GSX Eclipse in the front. Find that magazine and turn to page 119. There you'll find out exactly how to change tach's. Read it carefully! Theres something about eletrical currents not working with newer tachs that came with the sr20det in Japan, saying you should user LATER versions for your tach to work.
