i just bought an awia head unit and wired all the wires. Its a 1991 240sx hatchback base model. It seemed to be working fine unit cept when i open my trunk or my passenger side door. When ever i open one of them the whole unit shuts down unit i close the doors. My clock in my dash also shuts down when i open the doors but turns back on when i close it along with the unit. AAny ideas on whats wrong? crazy problems!

 

Sounds like you may have a short, or a bad ground. Trace each line back and check for any loose conections or nics and cuts.
