Arrow Can A Mod Make this a Sticky

First off i just wanna ask a mod to make this a sticky. Alright now down to business. Are you frustrated because you have blown 4x6s in your 240, or something a little bigger, but still blown because the owner before you was an idiot and didnt replace the stock spears before he installed his headunit and cranked it up to 20 and blew the speakers? Well Ive got you sollution. Ok heres what youll need.

-A hack saw or sawzall, something with a metal blade thatll cut metal.

-Cardboard paper thatll serve as a tracer

-A sharpie, red or black depending on the color of the metal in your car

-A cutting knife

Ok heres what to do. You outline the top of the speaker where its at its widest with the card board and sharpie, to make a mock-up to go by. Dont include the screw holes when you make this mock-up. After that is done, take the cardboard and place it by the original speaker holes, dont forget to watch out for the wires. Now i know your not going to be able to mark all the way around the card board, but mark as many places as you can. After thats done take the sawzall and start cutting where you marked you lines. The first time through try undercutting it so you dont overcut and screw yourself. Then place the speakers in the new cut holes and see if they fit, if so then screw them down, and hook em up and test em out. If they dont fit look for the places where theyre rubbing and cut those out a little bit more. BUT BEWARE DONT OVER-CUT YOUR HOLES!

Good luck and have fun with your new speakers!

Note: this is not for subs, just for speakers.
