The battery is grounded and recieves the same 12 v + my reggular car battery gets. it charges too.(basically forever) they are sound storm amps. off brand company but i had a friend with one and was impressed so i picked up three. they are 250rms 2 channel but 500 x1 brigged (sp?) at 4 ohms.

exceeding it is fine. you would just need to turn the gains down which actually helps out the amp and headunit by not working it to the max. unless you're going to ride around on max sometimes you should pass it anyway. try to match the peak power not rms and try to match the total combined peak at least.

oh, so.. match the combined peak power of the subs with the rms of the amp? or.. peak power of the amp?

but then each subs are 1000W max .. soo 2000W amp.. mono? peak or rms?.. ahh i'm getting confused.. sorry for all the questions but thanks a lot
