Thumbs up Installed A Color Camera In Trunk Lock

JUST INSTALLED A REAR VIEW CAMERA ( TO MY ALPINE IVA-C800 ) WHERE THE TRUNK LOCK USED TO BE. WITH REVERSE & MIRROR IMAGE. THERE'S 2 PIC'S

instead of looking in your rear view mirror...the camera will display what is in back of you on the IVA-C800 screen.

Thats nice!

What kinda camera is that? I'm thinking of doing something like this expcept having temp locations in the front and front/sides for track events. And maybe have a mic run down to the engine bay.
Possible?

That would be cool. Have like mini cams in the front and back.

You would just need a mini cam (run some searches for mini video cameras on the net) and a recorder.

I had a set up picked out to mount on my last motorcycle. I dont have the info any more since I sold me bike (after totaling it).
Most guys just mount the camera on the tank but i was going to use a mounted mini cam wired to a digital 8mm video recorder secured under my seat. It would have been safer in the event of a crash (if it would fit).

Anyway, sorry for rambling on. I haven't had any thing to drink today. I think I will solve that right now.
