Installing system tomorrow

today, one of my rear speakers blew out, so i thought 'what the hell, i'll just buy a whole new system, they're all ready to blow'. I also did some work in exchange for money towards a stereo system. (from parents)

So, i'm putting in:
JVC 200w headunit(power to speakers)
4, 4x6 Pioneer speakers with 1/8" tweeters and built in woofers
2, 12" Dual Subwoofers with an Enclousure
480 watt Dual Amp9power to subs)

its gonna BUMP! lol ... i'm just hoping the trunk doesn't rattle, or at least not too bad, if it does i'll fix it for sure.

What do you guys think? can't wait, i'll have pics and a video when i get it in.

me myself, i have 2 4x6 3-way pioneers in the front, 2 5" pioneers in the rear, and 2 12" MTX with a 1,200 watt amp.. I still want more BASS...

well, the amp comes with the subs, its a deal they're running.
I might in the future upgrade to 1,000 or more.
I'm not much on systems, but I only have to pay for half of it because a detailed a car(5 hours) and mixed up 7 bags of cement, in addition to other chores.
Normally i would put money towards parts, but its always nice to have a loud system.

that's sounds like a good setup to me, wha'd you do for your parents for that kinda money? that's like mulching the whole yard 4 times for me...

anyone have an idea for a cheap setup just to replace the stockers, maybe a sub but some good speakers and amp that can be found for a reasonable price?

lol, thats power for the neons bud.
I have heavy duty wire to the subs. And Monstor cable running from the battery to the amp with an 80ohmz fuse.
The 460 watts is MORE than enough for those too bad boys. Plus, the JVC headunit pushed 200w, so 50w to each of the four speakers. Its pretty loud.

It all cost around 650$ I paid 360. I had to mix 6 bags of cement, detail 3 cars, i always mow/weed-wak the lawn, i always do dishes, and i always take out trash. And i babysit.

I work for my stuff, i'm not one of those kids where their parents buy them everything.
I bought the car, i pay insurance, i buy my dinners, i buy my clothes. They just felt like giving me a little gift. So, before you judge, please don't think i'm one of the spoiled stuck up kids, i can't STAND them.
I also work 2 jobs.

NSN- this set-up is prolly the best deal you'll find. Its only that much because i bought 4x6 3-way pioneers at 90$ a set.
www.bestbuy.com search for DUAL, thats my set-up.
Don't buy their decks, they are ****ty.

nsn... cheaping out on the subs and amp is one thing, but don't cheap out on the speakers and the headunit. make sure you go to stores that have the big displays and you'll see what i mean. you can really hear the difference.

yeah, great price, and really good sound.

Its a 240sx, its very small, thats all you need.
People say they are ****ty just because they are cheap, but damn, they sound REAL good to me, and all my friends that have heard it.

The headunit and pioneer speakers make a huge difference. Instead of having normal music with an extra BUMP, the speakers and headunit MAXAMIZE the power, so the bass is good, and the surrounding music is awesome too.

I'm very happy with this set-up. I'd think i'm gonna take a video, but the sound quality on my camera is ****ty.
